However, something unusual happened on the day Chiara and Aurelio met. Chiara greeted Aurelio with caresses, kisses and milking as if he were her own baby, even though she had never had a  puppy before. They were inseparable from that moment on.

Chiara’s owners, Graciela Hernandez and Jose Garcia, affectionately call her “baby.” They were impressed by the pitbull’s friendly and gentle behavior. They were worried about Chiara’s reaction when they found out the chihuahua needed a home. They discussed the matter, realizing the great responsibility involved.

They were afraid that Chiara, who was used to being the only  dog in the house, would feel resentful or angry when Aurelio was introduced. But Chiara’s reaction was unexpected, as she adopted the little puppy as her own son. Aurelio was only a month and a half old and very young, but Chiara welcomed him warmly.

Chiara and Aurelio became inseparable after their first meeting. They spend every moment together, leaving the house, lying down and hugging each other, playing games. One of the most entertaining pastimes is stealing socks from their owners. Aurelio seems to think he is a red pitbull and imitates his foster mother’s behavior.

Chiara finally became a mother and gave birth to a brood of beautiful puppies. Aurelio loved them and taught them how to behave like real pit bulls, despite the fact that they quickly outgrew him. On the other hand, Aurelio continued to command respect and admiration.
