Argentine fans have had mixed reactions to superstar Lionel Messi’s absence from the national team’s squad as they prepare for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.
Yesterday (August 19, Vietnam time), coach Lionel Scaloni officially called up 28 players to prepare for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches in South America.
As usual, Scaloni continues to trust in the stars who usually appear in this squad, but the player who generates the most expectations, Lionel Messi, is not on this list.
